Using the Data Portal, any bona fide researcher can apply to access data from the DPUK cohort studies – over 2 million participants’ data – in a single application. Submit your online application now and subject to approval, gain access to your chosen data within 90 days.
Data Processing Terms
By submitting an application to DPUK, you understand that the personal data provided will be used and maintained for the legitimate interest of the undertaking and completion of the DPUK programme, by ensuring that all applications are maintained securely, and only disseminated to parties necessary to gain approval for the study. All personal data will be processed according to and in compliance with the GDPR, with particular respect to Articles 5 and 6, and pursuant to maintaining transparency of processing according Chapters 3, 4, 5, and 9.
By engaging with DPUK as an active researcher, you may be contacted regarding DPUK updates and events that DPUK is hosting, as well as personalised communications regarding your application or as part of the DPUK programme development. As active engagement with DPUK and for the legitimate interests of the continuation and completion of the DPUK programme and provision of its services, such communication shall take place in compliance with and according to the Privacy and Electronic Communication Regulation (PECR) and the GDPR with particular regard to the continued adherence to Article 6 (e and f) where the information is necessary for the legitimate interests of the programme and fulfils the need for the facilitating science in the public interest.
